This notice describes the processing of personal data related to the Photon Control app and the photoncontrol.eu website.

Data controller

The data controller is Raffaele Musto, Italy, who develops and distributes Photon Control through RM Software Labs. For any privacy-related request, write to Raffaele.musto@gmail.com.

Data processed by the app

Photon Control does not collect, store, sell, or share with third parties personal data or usage data. The app does not require an account and does not use advertising, analytics, or profiling tools.

The USB OTG connection and Android permission needed to communicate with the Canon EOS camera are used only on the device to control the camera. Information exchanged with the camera is not sent to Photon Control servers.

Support requests

If you email support, we may process your email address, any name you provide, and the content of your request, including any attachments you choose to send. This information is used only to reply, provide support, and handle requests related to the app.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures requested by the user and, where applicable, the controller's legitimate interest in providing support and protecting the service. The information is retained only for the time needed to handle the request, unless the law requires otherwise.

Website technical data

The website does not offer user registration, contact forms, behavioural advertising, or proprietary analytics tools. For infrastructure operation and security, the hosting provider may generate temporary technical logs that can include IP address, request date and time, requested page, and technical browser information. These data are used only for security, abuse prevention, and service continuity.

Cookies

The website does not use profiling or marketing cookies. It may use only technical tools essential to hosting operation, where necessary.

Recipients and transfers

Information voluntarily sent by email may be processed by the email service provider, and website technical data by the hosting provider, solely for their respective service purposes. We do not sell or disclose personal data. If these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer takes place under safeguards required by applicable law.

Google Play is an independent service operated by Google. Installation and use of the store are governed by Google's own privacy notices.
